Marine Half-Marathon RECAP

I DID IT!!
Start: 7am
Finish: 9:06am (not bad!)
I came in 1,656... out of about 6,000 runners!

Thanks to my teammates -we made an awesome Team WFLS!
We raised about $5,000 for TAPS, so this whole event was the BEST.
We're already looking forward to next year.

Team WFLS to Run in the Half Marathon!

This weekend is the Marine Corps Half Marathon through Historic Fredericksburg.
And, yup, I'll be running in it -right alongside a group of marathoners we call, Team WFLS.
We've managed turn this into a fund-raiser for TAPS, so we're very excited about our efforts and how it will ultimately benefit the families of fallen soldiers.

The Half Marathon starts Sunday 5/18 at 7am.
The course begins and ends at the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center.
Shuttles will be available for runners and spectators in the Commuter Lots at Route 17 and Route 3.
