Looking for Love for The Holiday
Poor guy. John Smith is so desperate to find love this holiday season he's placed his personal ad on an Orlando billboard. It says: "Help John find love. If you tell him about a friend who turns out to be his long-term girlfriend, he'll pay you $1,000." The 41 year-old says, "I'm self-employed so I don't meet people at work. So I thought, If I'm going to do this, I'm doing to do it full-bore. In the last couple of days, I've heard from women who said, 'You aren't my type, but I really admire what you're trying to do.' I've also heard from women who said, 'I went out with you and you haven't gotten any better looking!' When you do something like this, you can't be easily offended." John's web site tells more - CLICK HERE for it.

The Sky is Falling! Uh...make that The Trees Are Falling
Maybe not the sky, but the tress are falling - and just in time for Christmas!!!
Uwe Klein, of Berlin, Germany, was recently driving home when a giant Christmas tree fell on his Volkswagen Golf. The 45-year-old cut the tree down to size and drove it home. He says, "I thought I might as well at least get something out of it. It's just as well it happened at the right time of year."

Lit Up for Christmas...60,000 Lights Worth...
John and Danielle Copeland's Palm City, Florida home is adorned with 60,000 holiday lights. She says they buy their lights the day after Christmas. "We work on it during the summer, so it can take 10, 20 hours a song and that's only three minutes. So I think we have about six or seven songs this year."
